I’m going to switch things up a little this week.
First, the Jamie update.
K, second week not so great weight loss wise, but can def feel it in my clothes. Slacked a bit eating wise, pizza night, camp fire with beer…..the temptations never stop! But I’m getting better.
I think it’s great that she was realistic. That she had some pizza, drank some beer, and had some fun.
She didn’t beat herself up over allowing herself a treat, she didn’t go overboard, and she still lost a pound.
So she’s down 6 pounds in 2 weeks.
Awesome.
But this is a little more awesome:
I do have to admit even though I’m getting less sleep cuz I’m getting up to work out, I feel much better and have way more energy throughout the day.
YES!
She’s not just losing weight.
The quality of her life is improving.
But that’s not all.
This is EVEN MORE AWESOME:
And I had a huge break through in running. I’ve always had set spots that I would stop n walk, if I can just make to that next house, I can take a break…..well guess what, I made it to that house and was like ” why do I always stop here, why not just keep going?” So I did, I’m up to 2 miles straight, which I’m pretty sure is the longest I’ve ever run nonstop, so that’s kinda a big deal for me. Hoping to hit 3 this week!
YES!!!
GO JAMIE!!!
So here’s my challenge for Jamie:
Sign up for and complete a 5K before Memorial Day.
There are lots of them this time of year.
I’m doing one on Mother’s Day.
Are you up for the challenge Jamie?
YOU CAN DO IT!
Oh, and doesn’t she look great?
I can really see a difference from the side already.
Day 1
Day 15
Day 1
Day 15
Last week I said my goal was to keep better track of the food I ate.
To use that “Lose It” app and enter every single thing I put in my mouth.
And I did.
Here are my pictures.
Day 1
Day 22
Day 1
Day 22
I have to admit that counting the calories religiously kind of sucked.
It was tedious, and it was a pain.
But you know what doesn’t suck?
I lost 4 pounds.
4.
Fucking.
Pounds.
And you know what else doesn’t suck?
What isn’t a pain?
This.
Yes.
Yes!
YES. YES. YES. YES.
Mother.
Fucking.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
It has been 9 years since I’ve seen the 140’s.
9.
Fucking.
Years.
And I did it.
I fucking did it.
I reached a major milestone.
I’m not at the final destination yet, but I am getting closer.
Yes.
YES.
You know what feels better than this?
Me neither.
This feels pretty fucking good.
In fact,
I’d say,
Best.
Fucking.
Day.
Ever.
And you know what else?
Everybody deserves to feel this.
And I feel pretty good about giving Jamie that little extra something to motivate her.
Because she is on her way to whatever her this is.
I want everybody to feel this.
So here’s my plan.
If you need help, I will help you.
If you need a little push, I will give it to you.
If you are looking for some daily inspiration, I will provide it.
I’m going to start a Lose To Win type online program.
In the next two weeks.
I don’t know exactly how it’s going to work.
And I won’t be able to do it for free.
But it will be affordable.
Like $25 for 8 weeks.
$3.13 a week.
Because I want to help you to feel this.
I want to create a community where we are setting goals.
Meeting goals.
CRUSHING goals.
A community where you are supported.
And celebrated.
A community that helps you feel whatever your “this” is.
Thanks for celebrating this with me today.
And let me know if you’re up for the journey.
Because I’d really like to celebrate your “this” with you.

First, awesome for Jaime! I totally see a difference in her! Second, you look freaking HOT and congrats on your 4 pounds! Third, I want to join your challenge. A couple of months ago, I started a life change for myself and am down 10 pounds (because you inspired me…thank you very much). But would like to lose some more and firm up! Wooo! I’m pumped!!

Good for YOU!!! I love it. Almost 4 yrs ago, at the ripe old age of 53, I started weight training (and nutrition training) with a personal trainer. Lost 45 lbs in 6 mos. My best friend is my workout partner, and that makes all the difference!! We haven’t had our trainer for 1.5 yrs now, but we still work out 3-4 times weekly and my weight has mainly stayed within 5 lbs of my lowest-ever number (-which was that magical 149! c:) I love your idea of getting a group going to help other women get to THEIR magic numbers! c:

I want to play too! I realized (when you finished your Lose to Win and I was sitting on my ass reading about you exercising) that if I had also been working out during those 80 some days that I could have lost weight and had kick ass before and after pictures to post too. Because let me tell you, your abs look waaaaayyyy better than mine and I’ve not given birth before. On that note, I started working out seriously last week and have dropped 4lbs and 4.5 inches overall. Hells yay.
