Last week I wrote this post about how menopause is really messing with my body and I am having a real hard time losing weight but that wasn’t the only factor contributing to my struggles.
Another factor was the issue of me developing this habit where I was eating some sort of snack as a reward for simply surviving the day in bed every night about ten minutes before I went to sleep.
And in last week’s post, I said this:
My plan is to report back to you in one week that I’ve got seven nights of no eating in bed at bedtime (or any other time) under my belt.
Well…
I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT I’VE GOT SEVEN NIGHTS OF NO EATING IN BED AT BEDTIME (OR ANY OTHER TIME) UNDER MY BELT.
Two days after I declared I wasn’t gonna eat in bed anymore and I issued this challenge to my Tribe members, and then decided to offer it up to everyone here on the blog, too.
Since tomorrow is a new month AND a Monday, I wanna see who wants to do a July challenge.
31 days of SOMETHING.
I don’t want to offer a blanket challenge because I think we all have different things we are working on.
But I want to really encourage you to think of something you want to do for the next 31 days.
EVEN ON THE 4TH OF JULY.
EVEN ON VACATION!!!!
Maybe it’s organizational.
Maybe it’s one minute of some sort of strength training like planks or push-ups.
Maybe it’s daily journaling or reading.
Maybe it’s drinking water or stretching or maybe it’s something else!
I really want to encourage you to challenge yourself to something. Something manageable.
I decided I was going to raise the bar a little bit and stop eating after 8:00 pm.
So here is what happened.
I succeeded with that challenge, and I’m still going strong.
Also, I lost three pounds.
And Week 64 was a pretty good week.
