So I’ve had an aha moment.
I like this working out thing.
And I like this motivation thing.
It’s a lot of work, but I’m really enjoying running my e-course.
And, especially for the first time, I think it’s a big success.
We are halfway through after this week, and last night I got this comment:
What if you don’t want to be half through?!
I ran two miles today. Having salmon baked in plain yogurt, lemon juice and capers (or with a miso-fresh ginger marinade) with sautéed Swiss chard and quinoa with some tamari sauce. Ripe raspberries for dessert. Even the kids are noticing the changes in my body. :)))
How awesome is that?
And this too:
Logged 4.5 miles on the treadmill, including a 5k without stopping! Did my pushups. My goal this week is to run at least a couple of those miles outside, not on my treadmill! I don’t want it to be half over either… still have so much work to do & know I need this extra push to get it done!
So…
I’m venturing into personal training.
I will come to your house, you can come to my house, I may take you to a top secret location…
Wherever we go,
I will kick your ass.
In a nice way.
I have been on both sides of the picture.
The out of shape, I feel gross, I know I’m unhealthy side,
And the, I feel fucking awesome side.
That awesome side is way more fun.
And if you need a little assistance to get there,
I can help you.
I’ve helped Jamie…
Yes, she’s put in the hard work,
but I’ve helped.
And I know that I am helping to increase the quality of her life, and as a result, the quality of her entire family’s life as well.
That feel pretty amazing.
Look how awesome she looks!!!

This doesn’t just apply to weight loss.
You may not have an issue with your weight.
But maybe you aren’t happy with another aspect of your life.
Maybe you hate your job.
Well, why shouldn’t you be doing something you enjoy?
And feel passionate about?
I heard Jillian Michaels say that.
And she’s right.
I’m 43, and I feel like I’m just discovering one thing that I really enjoy and that I’m pretty good at.
It’s not too late for you to change the course of your life.
To move out of the field you’re in.
To be successful.
And happy.
It’s never too late.
What is it that you want?
Make it happen!
Speaking of not being too late,
it’s not too late to support me in the NYC Triathalon, and make a donation to help find a cure for blood cancers.
Even $5 will help.

What do the Fierce, Fit, and Fabulous workouts all entail, i.e. treadmill, weights, yoga, etc?
susiej says
There is no set workout, but there are weekly and monthly challenges.
This week, the workout goal is 280 minutes, to be divided up however you want.
It’s also the walk/run challenge — the challenge is to walk and/or run a total of 10 miles this week.
We are also 3 weeks in to a 4 week pushup and squat challenge.
