I did a little survey on my personal Facebook page today.
I asked people to share if they spent any money every day or week or month on things that weren’t necessities.
The answers were interesting, but not surprising, and they ranged from spending absolutely nothing at all to $1000 a month.
There were the expected answers.
Coffee, wine, take out or going out to eat, manicures, pedicures…
Here is why I asked.

Why isn’t it your average fitness course?
Because it doesn’t only focus on physical fitness.
It focuses on all the parts of you.
Mind, body, spirit.

I have had people say they wish they could take the course but just can’t afford it.
And I know there are people who really can’t.
But if you are able to buy, say, a coffee from Starbucks every single day, or a couple bottles of wine a week,
then you are spending more on coffee or booze in eight weeks than you would if you took my e-course.
If you are spending $100 a week going out to eat or buying takeout, well,
you can do the math.
You can also think of it this way…
By buying a coffee every morning at Dunkin Donuts, you are ingesting potentially thousands of calories a month.
But if you invested that money in my course, you would instead be burning thousands of calories a month.
And you don’t have to be a hard-core athlete or a complete psychopath to take the course either.
In fact, I would say about 80% of participants are either fairly new or completely new to exercise.
There are all levels of ability, all shapes and sizes, and everyone has different goals.
You don’t have to run or swim or do yoga or do any specific workout.
That’s the beauty of the course.
It works for everyone because I’ve designed it to adapt to different levels of fitness as well as different likes, and different states and even countries!

Yes, we work hard, but we also have fun.
We lean on each other and boost each other up.
We laugh, we cry, we swear, and we celebrate together.
We make new friends.
Take Mo, for instance.
She took one of the very first courses I ever offered before we had ever met each other.
And now not only do we work together, but she is one of my very closest friends.
I gained not only a workout buddy through this course, but also a drinking buddy.
Which brings me to my last point.
This course is not about becoming all-or-nothing.
You know how I love my Blue Moons.
I ‘m not going to expect you to run a marathon or give up drinking alcohol.
I’m not going to ask you to stop eating sugar or white flour or meat or dairy (although I might urge you to give up that Diet Coke).
But I will push you to make some healthy changes.
You deserve them.
One more thing.
Maybe you run this by your husband and he’s the one who says no way.
Maybe he tells you it’s too expensive.
Tell him this.
The more you exercise, the better you feel.
The better you feel, the more sex you will have with him.
Tell him you will have a goal each week.
And that if you do some of these poses:
that will count toward your weekly workout goal.
No matter where you do them.
Once he sees that downward facing dog, I bet he’ll give you, among other things, the green light.
Oh yeah.
