It’s the first day of spring, and that means new life and new beginnings.
I find myself in that season, personally.
In December I finalized my divorce after 16 years of marriage, and in February I moved into a new home.
There has been a lot of change in my life recently – it’s why I haven’t been writing blog posts consistently.
But now life is settling down and it’s SO MUCH BETTER.
I love my new house and so do the kids, and for the first time in a long, long time, I am able to think clearly.
I moved from a 250 year-old house into a large condo, and it’s right on a lake.
I thought the move would be devastating, but it’s been SO LIBERATING.
I never imagined I’d love my new place so much, and the kids and I are super excited for this summer on the lake.
They are adjusting and navigating all the changes better than I had expected, and I am getting used to not having them with me 7 days a week.
That’s the one thing I thought I would never be able to handle, but you know what?
I LOVE MY ALONE TIME.
The kids are with their dad this weekend and today I was able to go for a run and then I took a walk down to the lake.
IT WAS SO AWESOME.
Life can — and does — get better.
It was hell for a long time. But now it’s pretty fucking amazing.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I’ll be showing up more consistently moving forward in this new, more clear-headed season of my life!
P.S. My next FREE challenge starts on April 5th, and registration is OPEN.
