So if you’re new here, let me recap.
Two years ago I lost a bunch of weight.
I committed to fitness.
Exercise saved my sanity.
I have remained committed to exercise since the journey began.
But I kind of fell off the food wagon and gained some of the weight I lost back.
Then a company called Personal Trainer Food contacted me and asked if I’d like to try their prepared weight loss meal plan system for free.
I figured why the hell not?
But rather than start on January 1st, I started on December 20.
Because I like a challenge.
Here’s what I looked like on the first day. You may want to shield your eyes.
I don’t have a full length mirror anywhere in my house so I had to stand on a stool in my shower and face the medicine cabinet door.
Cause I’m classy like that.
The first couple days sucked.
But once I made it past Christmas I was feeling pretty good.
Good because my eating habits had changed, and good because I had reclaimed some fucking control.
The end of the first week, I decided to take a picture in my favorite running shirt and shorts.
They had gotten a little snug.
And then I took a picture with the vest I had gotten for Christmas which was also too small.
My goal became to have that vest fit by the fourth week.
The second week was easier.
The food from Personal Trainer food is very, VERY convenient. And it’s tasty. (Especially the eggs, the veggies, the lemon pepper chicken, chicken patty, and the apple and gouda sausage. And the chocolate dusted almonds are amazing).
Anyway, here is the most amazing thing.
I haven’t had sugar in two weeks.
That is a really big deal for me.
Like HUGE.
So the sacrifice, especially over Christmas, was totally worth it.
I’m really proud of myself, and I feel great.
And if I do say so myself, I’m looking pretty great too.
Can’t wait to see where I am in another two weeks!

Personal Trainer Food is awesome! I got my first delivery after getting a discount on Amazon Local. Within 2 months, I had lost about 15 lbs, and my sugar and cholesterol were normal. Unfortunately, for me, microwaving every meal isn’t my bag, so I wasn’t able to stick with it. If you haven’t tried the burgers yet, they are AMAZING!! All of the vegetables are delicious as well.

The food is surprisingly good. And no, I don’t want to eat microwaved meals for the rest of my life, but this has really helped me to reset my clock and get back on track. I think it’s a great way to change your diet and make a transition to healthier eating.

Hello Susie,
thank you for visiting me in the “Stories”.
After a time away, I went back to the “stories” and would love to come back to visit me.
I love to visit “not your average mom” and today by coincidence the post is about diet / weight / weight loss issue that is very present in my days. I’m 63 kilos and I aim to lose about 8 pounds. How? I’ll start a diet which in Portugal is called “diet of 31 days.” I mean a diet cuts the sugars and carbohydrates consists of 3 phases and promises weight loss of 5 pounds in the month for women and 8 pounds for men. I believe that this diet works because my husband did the diet and lost about 25 pounds and gained a lot of health. Already finished the lies for more than 6 months and not get fat again, still excellent.
Congratulations for your weight loss, I think you are excellent.
Susie, a kiss and I’ll be back.
