One of my goals is to help women, and moms in particular, to reclaim their inner badass.
I think it’s so easy to lose this once you have kids.
Initially, it’s kind of required to focus solely on the kids. You need to make it all about the baby in the first few months.
But sometimes the months turn to years.
And then you have another kid, and it just gets worse and worse and worse.
Before you know it, you don’t shower — ever, you wear the same yoga pants every day but you don’t actually exercise, you are eating all the unfinished food your kids leave on their plates plus the goldfish that are lying on the floor of the car, and, well,
you just feel like sh*t.
Disappointed with yourself, you vow to get your act together and make better choices and decisions starting the next day.
You wake up motivated and ready to fucking change things. You make it about 20 minutes before you realize you have just eaten the remaining pancakes on your two-year-old’s plate without even being conscious of it, and you say fuck it.
I’ve already blown it today.
I’ll start again tomorrow.
And this cycle repeats itself. Over and over and over.
I get it.
Lucky for you, I can help you.
After going through this cycle myself, I finally found a way to get my life (mostly) together. I changed my life. I changed my habits. I changed my body. I changed my mind. And I can help you do the same thing.
And I have put years of work into developing a program that works for all ages, sizes, and levels of fitness. A program that focuses on developing habits that work for YOUR life, YOUR family, and YOU.
It won’t happen overnight. My e-courses help you make small, gradual, manageable changes that you can maintain.
And that you will want to maintain.
I can help you reclaim your inner bad ass, one day at a time.
My courses work. They really do.

After being a NYAM blog fan for years, I rolled in my first NYAM fitness course in 2015 because i was seeking more structure for my exercise routine and personal goals. I also needed a health programme I could implement without a gym.Almost immediately, my life started changing for the better, and shortly after that, friends, acquaintances and my husband, started commenting on how much better I looked.
Susie’s daily emails were encouraging and informative. The fellow participants I met online were smart, funny and resourceful. We traded recipes, links to articles, and most of all, supportive I’ve-been-there-too banter that made me want to keep enrolling. Three years on, I’m stronger and happier than I’ve ever been. I’ve also recruited my husband and kids to run a 5/10 K with me this fall, so fitness is truly the gift one passes on.
Thanks for the tough love and belly laughs, Susie!

Here’s an email from another course member:
Woot woot! I fit into my brown capris this morning. We went on a cruise in March and I wanted to take them with me but I didn’t fit into them. More like I looked like a sausage in them 🙂 but this morning they slipped on and they buttoned up with no problem.

How about this message I just received from a past course member?
Thanks to your e course I’m still keeping up…I’m not the sad fat person on the left!
Almost 30lbs gone. Bought myself my favorite Avenger shirt two sizes smaller!
Wow.
I mean, look at that picture.
Amazing.
This isn’t primarily a weight loss course, though.
I told you, I want to help you reclaim your inner badass. And I want you to set an example.
You may think your kids aren’t watching.
But they are.
How do I know?
My kids have been to many 5K races and have cheered me on while I ran.
It didn’t take long for them to start asking to run one with me.
Not just asking.
Begging.
May 2015 was the year Number 4 ran her first 5K.
We ran as a team in the Mother’s Day 5K.
And we got third place!
She also got third place in her age group.
This led to all the kids participating with me in one way or another.
Number 4 is watching. So are the rest of my kids.
And so are your kids.
What kind of example are you setting for them?
My fitness courses aren’t about running.
They are about encouraging you to find types of exercise that you enjoy. I just happen to enjoy running. They are about helping you to live a more active lifestyle.
And they aren’t just about physical fitness.
That’s just a fraction of it.
They are about mental toughness and emotional fitness. About organizational fitness and taking care of yourself and making yourself a priority,
AND DOING IT WITHOUT GUILT.
Because nobody should feel guilty for making themselves a priority.
ESPECIALLY MOMS.
Moms are the foundation. The core. The backbone.
When you do down, the whole ship goes down.
When you fail to put the oxygen mask on yourself, then nobody else will get taken care of either.
If you could use a little help, getting your shit together, you are in luck.
