What is your BMI?

August 25, 2014 by not your average mom Leave a Comment

Your BMI is your Body Mass Index.

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to adult men and women.

This is generally the measurement that is used to determine whether you are within healthy ranges for your height and weight.

Now keep in mind this is an approximation.

But this will help to give you an idea of where you fall, and it will help you to establish a baseline.

Follow this link to calculate your BMI: http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm

There is a record sheet attached to today’s email. Print that out, and record your BMI measurement on it!
