Sometimes your kids suck.
Sometimes they whine.
Sometimes they show a complete absence of appreciation or gratitude.
Sometimes they complain, and cry and tell you that you are the worst. mom. ever.
Sometimes they behave in a way that makes you believe you are the worst. mom. ever.
But sometimes,
they don’t.
Sometimes they surprise you.
Sometimes you see that they get it.
And it’s times like those that you are reminded that while you may not be doing everything right,
you are definitely doing something right.
