Last week Number 7 made a Christmas list in her journal.
It was so cute I had to take a picture:
I was going to decipher it for you, but I’ll let you try to figure it out on your own:
Stuff ror krismis
2. FijiT spinr
2. fijit Qub
A water Bottle.
A babay doll stolr.
A Bean Bag car.
A jrem lit.
A new Helmit.
A SQuicke set
Sum neu boox (this is by far my favorite spelling)
A new par uff pujomus.
A new peNsool case.
A new toy skat Bord.
A new walit.
new ear mufs.
a new skootr.
new lined crocks sise 12
a new hemooll (that’s a repeat of an earlier item spelled incorrectly in a different way 😉 )
A new lunc Box.
First of all, I love that she put periods after every item on the list. I’ll have to let her teacher know she’s at least attempting correct punctuation at the end of every thought.
Secondly, after reading this over with Number 7, I reminded her that everyone is only getting four gifts for Christmas.
She furrowed her brow, thought about it for a couple seconds, then shrugged her shoulders and said,
“That’s okay. Then I’ll just show it to Grammy and Papa.”
She’s no dummy.
I bet she ends up with just about everything on that list.
