Not Your Average Chopped Kids, Episode 1

June 12, 2020 by not your average mom Leave a Comment

I’m using a new video uploading service, and I’ve been playing around with it a little bit.

It makes embedding videos really easy and simple, which is exactly what I need because tech stuff overwhelms me pretty easily.

One of Number 5 and Number 7’s new favorite things it to play Chopped.

Last week we “filmed” an episode.

It’s very rudimentary. There is zero editing except for the intro I made which was pretty lame.

But the girls have a lot of fun doing this, and we are making our next episode this weekend.

I thought you might like to see their first one.

They actually learned a couple things while they did this, and it’s a good way to occupy them for a little while.

There is one condition. They have to clean everything up when they are done.

They did!

Now I’m on a mission to get the boys involved…

And the basket on this episode had a whole bunch of garbage in it.

Next time I’m gonna throw them for a loop and put some actual healthy food in there.

Anyway, here’s Episode 1 of Not Your Average Chopped Kids (I didn’t realize how loud I was while “filming” — I guess I was excited).

Enjoy!

Stay tuned for Episode 2 coming soon!

(I’m gonna work on getting Number 6, my resident, nine-year-old tech expert, to do the video production).

BACE CAMP is OPEN for registration!
