Last night I went on a date with my husband.

And I wore my most recent purchase (and absolute favorite new shirt ) from Betsy Boos’ Boutique.

It came as this set with a scarf and red/orange tank.

I wore the scarf and the tank about a week ago to a baseball game (and all my mom friends were in love with the shirt).

 

 

 But  yesterday it was pretty warm here in CT, so I  left the scarf at home, threw on a necklace, and instead of boots, I wore a pair of sandals.

 As I was getting ready to go out the door, Number 3 said to me,

“Mom…. That actually looks kind of… good.“

Coming from Number 3 who often sits atop his critical high horse, that’s quite a compliment.

I felt great last night.

One thing I should warn you about though, is since it’s a boutique, they have limited quantities of most of their stuff. So if you see something you like, don’t wait too long to order. I did this twice, and when I went back to purchase a different top (in particular, a plaid button down that was super super cute ) it was no longer available in my size (the bigger sizes go quickly). Damn!

Every Wednesday and Friday, new  pieces are added, and if you get on the email list, you’ll get an email showing you what new sets and other pieces they have every time they come in.
