So it’s been 188 days since I started my weight loss and overall fitness journey.
I started out like this:
Day 1
Halfway through, at the end of Lose to Win, I looked like this:
Day 92
And now, at 6 months in, I look like this:

The changes are coming a little more slowly now, but they are coming.
I’m almost to where I’d like to be, ideally.
I’ll be there before too long.
Last year in September I completed the Westchester Triathlon.
I looked like this at the end of it:
I just competed in the New York City Triathlon this past weekend.
At the end of that, I looked like this:
Last year I wanted to hide behind my bike.
Not this year.
Next year, I may just take off my shirt 🙂
It has been a life changing journey.
Along the way,
Jamie joined me.

Amazing.
She has one week to go in her 12-week stint here on the blog, although her journey will still continue on her own after that.

Holy hell! I’ve been reading about your weight loss journey now from Day 1. 187 days and I’ve just read about it and have been sitting on my gradually expanding ass. I truly didn’t realize HOW fit you had gotten until I saw the triathlon pictures! wowza! I certainly feel motivated to GO WORKOUT because all I can think about is what I could have looked like if I had also dedicated myself to spending just 30 minutes a day on myself. You kick ass girl! And thanks for helping to kick mine. Oh, and GO JAMIE!!! You are one brave mo-fo!
