From now through December 12, Amazon is offering a $5 off deal on any print book purchase of $15 or more (not Kindle books).

If you are doing the something you want, something you need, something to wear and something to read, four gift rule for Christmas like me this year and are still in need of some things to read, you can save yourself some money without even having to leave your house.

When placing your order, just use this promo code: GIFTBOOK

Need some suggestions?

For toddlers:

Goodnight Moon. Mandatory childhood reading.

Any Eric Carle book.

Guess How Much I Love You? This is pretty much required reading, too.

For preschoolers:

The Book With No Pictures. Guaranteed Laughs.

The Kissing Hand — this is  a must have before your child starts kindergarten or preschool.

The How Do Dinosaurs… books. Very popular in this house.

If you have a kindergartener:

Any book by Mo Willems. Number 5 LOVES him.

Pinkalicious. My girls all love this book.

No, David! All the kids, but the boys epsecially, love the No, David books.

For elementary schoolers:
The Magic Tree House Books. Number 3 and 4 loved these.

Little House in the Big Woods. We just finished reading this, and it really helped Number 3, especially, appreciate how easy life is for kids these days.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid — Number 3 loved all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.

If your daughter wants to know about puberty but you’re not ready to go there yet…The Care and Keeping of You.

The Harry Potter books. Number 3 and 4 love them. I read them aloud to them every night, and we are currently on book #4.

The Chronicles of Narnia are also not only classics, but popular for your kids who love to read. Number 4 is obsessed with them.

She also just finished the entire Series of Unfortunate Events. She loved that, too.

If you know someone who wants to get their house in order, get them The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up. It’s a game changer.

If a friend has confided in you that her marriage is struggling: Finding the Love you Want. It will change the way you look at your relationship. Guaranteed.

And if you don’t have Amazon prime yet, get it. If you shop online, its TOTALLY worth the investment!
