Establish some baselines, part 1

August 25, 2014 by not your average mom Leave a Comment

You all have different goals for this course.

You may want to lose weight or lose inches or run a race or get more fit.

Since this isn’t about a number on a scale, I want you to establish some baselines to help you see and measure your progress.

Weighing yourself is one baseline.

Determining your BMI is another.

I also would like you to take a “before” picture.

Don’t worry…

This picture is for your eyes only. It’s just so you can see your progress.

Although, if you are feeling brave,

or if you think it will help to keep you accountable,

you are more than welcome to share your photos either as you go along, or

at the end with a before and after picture.

Only the people registered for this course will be able to see them.

But no pressure. That’s totally up to you.

I also mentioned yesterday that I want you to time yourself for one mile.

This is so that you can see how your level of fitness has changed over the course of this program.

I want you to record your time on the record sheet that’s attached.

You will time yourself for one mile at the halfway point and again at the end.
