Wanna help Not Your Average Mom out?
If you are doing holiday shopping this year on Amazon, please click on that link over there on the right in the sidebar to do it (or down at the bottom of this post if you are on your phone).
It costs you nothing extra but gives me a small commission and helps me offset the costs of maintaining the blog.
Thank you! And Happy Holidays!
My parents take Number 7 for the day on Tuesday and Thursday so I can get some work done.
It’s a win-win for both Number 7 and me because it’s a break for me and she loves hanging out at Grammy and Papa’s house.
Since I coach every night and don’t get home until 8, I literally don’t see her all day, and she usually comes running into the mudroom screaming “MOMMY!!!” when I walk in the door and gives me a big hug.
Today it was no different, except she pulled me into the playroom excitedly to show me her new sticker book.
“Look what I got, Momma!” she said. “A sticker book!”
“Wow!” I said, “where did you get that?”
“I got it at the store with Grammy and Papa,” she told me.
“What store did you go to?” I asked her. “To the grocery store?”
“No,” answered Number 7.
“We went to a different store…
Grammy and Papa had to go to the store that takes selfies of their papers.”
Paper selfies.
Referred to by us older folks as… copies.
