I’ve said it many times before.
Marriage is fucking hard.
So is taking a real, good, hard look at yourself.
I think today I really listened to my husband for the first time in a long time.
Maybe ever.
With all parts of me.
And I listened not just waiting for my chance to reply, but simply to understand.
It definitely takes two.
I am not saying that I’m the only one responsible for our problems. At all.
But today I think I finally realized how badly I have been fucking up in a couple of areas.
I have really. been. fucking. up.
So I could spend a while writing my post today.
But instead, I’m going to spend that time showing my husband that I get it.
I really get it.
Time for change.
