Tomorrow is triathlon day.
It will be the 6th one I’ve ever done, and the first one I’ve done in four years.
I hadn’t put my wetsuit on since 2014, so I figured I’d better make sure I could still get into it.
All I have to say is that it’s a good thing I lost some weight because there is no way in hell I would have gotten this thing on two months ago.
This is what 25 pounds of sausage in a ten pound bag looks like.
I think I pulled a hammy and sweated off three or four pounds trying to squeeze myself into it, but I got that f*cker on.
Number 7’s reaction?
MOM! You look like you don’t have boobs anymore!
I have three stretch goals for tomorrow:
1) Finish the swim in the top 50%.
2) Run the whole 5K without stopping and in less than 33 minutes.
3) Finish in less than 1:40.00
My main goal?
Survive.
