Numbers 5, 6, and 7 were playing very nicely this morning.
So nicely that I was able to get a bunch of stuff done.
Number 5 was doing her own thing.
Numbers 6 and 7 were playing together in the playroom.
They were fairly quiet.
Quiet enough that I was sure they were doing something wrong.
I looked in on them periodically while I cleaned up and put away laundry.
Every time I checked in on them, they were behaving and cooperating.
I kind of let my guard down.
I lost track of time, and I was in the kitchen.
Number 6 came running through the kitchen and into the mudroom.
“Mommy! It’s okay. We aw doing NOTHING!”
He ran out of the mudroom and back through the kitchen carrying a broom.
“What is the broom for?” I asked him.
“It’s not foh the mess that Numbuh 7 made!” he said, and he sprinted back to the playroom.

My son is only two but I have already learned that if he is quietly “playing” alone, something bad is about to happen. Is it wrong that sometimes I take my chances anyway just to get a couple of things done? 🙂

Ahahhaha, you must be more worried when they get quiet because surely they are doing something fishy. LOL

Sounds exactly like my house! I’m voting for you. This is way better than a giveaway blog! ; )
