In the light of the moon, a very stressed out mommy lay in her bed.
One Tuesday morning, she turned on her phone and – pop!
Out came a tiny voicemail.
The mommy had found her Alice.
But the mommy was very poor.
She needed to come up with $300.
She went out to the garage, took some pictures, and posted them on a bunch of local Facebook tag sale sites.
On Monday, she sold these two flower boxes for $20.
But she still needed money.
On Tuesday, she sold this flower box for $20,
and this flower box for $20.
But she still needed money.
On Wednesday, she sold this clarinet for $20.
But she still needed money.
On Thursday, she sold this bookcase for $30.
But she still needed money.
On Saturday, she sold this bench for $55.
But she still needed money.
On Sunday, she sold this bench for $75.
But she still needed money.
The mommy looked through her office.
She found two five dollar bills and a $50 gift card she forgot she had.
Now the mommy wasn’t poor anymore.
And she wasn’t stressed out anymore.
That night, the mommy went to bed.
The next day at 1:00 she heard a knock on the door.
She went to the door,
peeked through the window,
and there was…
a beautiful babysitter.
TODAY IS ALICE DAY!!!
Time for me to bust out of this cocoon!!!
