I Found Three Pairs Of Jeans I LOVE (and I thought you might want to check them out)

October 5, 2018 by not your average mom 1 Comment

Let’s talk jeans for a minute.

After I had kids and gained five thousand pounds, I kind of stopped wearing jeans.

If it wasn’t elasticized, then I wasn’t gonna wear it.

Then I lost some weight, and I bought some jeans, but they were inexpensive and they fit okay, but they didn’t fit really well.

I always thought, “I’ll invest in better jeans when I’ve lost all the weight I need to lose.”

I still have yet to lose all the weight, but I have come to accept where my body is.

This doesn’t mean I’m letting myself go. It means I appreciate my body where it is now. And I am done not wearing clothes I really like until I get to a certain size.

I wanna look cute now, no matter what size I am.

I had this revelation and around the same time the Universe stepped in, and I was contacted by Betsy Boo’s Boutique.

So I’ve been working with them and checking out their clothes.

I have to tell you that I love what I’ve gotten from them, but I cannot tell you enough how much I love the jeans I’ve gotten from them.

They fit me better than any jeans I’ve ever had (both pre and post kids).

So I just want to share with you some of the outfits I’ve been wearing in the last few weeks in my Betsy Boo’s jeans.

I have three pairs.

SO FAR.

Because I will totally be getting more.

I have the following styles:

Josie Dark Wash  Skinny Jeans

First let me show you the Joelle Dark Wash Skinny Jeans. I got these earlier in the summer when I first showed them to you. They look great with a pair of sandals.

Now here they are with a pair of ankle boots.

Same boots and a different top. I actually got this top from Betsy Boo’s a couple years ago. I still have it, and it still looks great, right?

Here they are with a moto jacket and a shirt that apparently had some spots on it when I took the picture (I think it’s just water):

Here they are with a more classic look and my favorite leopard flats.

I love those jeans!!!

Okay. Now let me show you a contrast…

Here I am back in June wearing a pair of inexpensive “boyfriend jeans” I already owned.

Ugh. I look at those jeans now and I’m like, WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING???

Anyway, after seeing these jeans next to the new ones I got from Betsy Boo’s I chucked them immediately, and I got myself a pair of “girlfriend” jeans from Betsy Boo’s as well.

I love them.

They are a looser cut than the skinny jeans, but they don’t look sloppy like my old jeans.

Here they are with my favorite flats.

So cute!!!

They are super comfortable and a little bit higher waisted, which many of us moms without washboard abs appreciate.

And now for the third pair of jeans.

These might be my favorite of the three, but it’s really hard to choose!

Here they are cuffed, and with three different variations going from super plain and casual to a tiny bit more polished.

Here they are when I went to see Ed Sheeran with Number 4.

Here they are cuffed and uncuffed with different tops and the same moto jacket.

And finally, here they are uncuffed and with the same white top and but different jacket/vest/sweater.

I have to tell you I feel pretty awesome now that I have a couple pairs of decent jeans that fit me well.

They are available in odd sizes — all three of my pairs are size 11.

In even sized jeans, I’m a size 10 now, so if you check them out and decide to get yourself a pair, I’d go up rather than down when ordering.

Again, these three pairs of jeans are the:

I love them all so much, and I love Betsy Boo’s Boutique!

Oh, and while I am partnered with Betsy Boo’s and they did give me a gift card to do a little bit of shopping, I am not receiving any commission and I am not an affiliate. I just really like their stuff!

I just bought their grey fringed sweater and I’m totally in love with it! I just wish it would get cold enough in southern Indiana to wear it! I also wish they had more of their stuff available in 2x. But I’ve got 3 more items coming and I can’t wait to get them!
