If you’ve been around here since last fall, you know that I LOVE the Get Your Pretty On style challenges.
They helped me to start taking care of myself again, and they made it very easy for me to get out of the work out clothes only rut I had gotten into since having kids and start wearing some clothes that helped me feel more confident and just good about myself in general.
A couple people asked for a little more information about the fall challenge.
Registration closes tonight, so I wanted to make sure I answered those questions because I really believe that feeling good about the way you are dressed can be a catalyst for other things in your life to change.
SO…
Why pay $49 for this challenge? What do you get?
Here is the thing I love most about it.
You will be able to put an entire wardrobe together without even having to think about anything.
For me, I had gotten so out of touch with wearing anything other than my yoga pants and hoodies that even trying to think about getting clothes that looked good together was completely overwhelming.
So just for that part of it, the $49 investment was worth it. No stress. At all.
Along with no stress, you are given a shopping list of the items included in the challenge. This season, the recommended pieces are 6 tops, 5 bottoms, 3 sweaters and jackets, 5 pairs of shoes, and a bunch of accessories.
You don’t get all that clothing for $49. But the list enables you to shop for things that are all going to coordinate with each other.
And many of the items on the list carry over to the next seasons challenge. For instance, three of the bottoms on the list were on the list for past challenges, so were a couple of the tops, a few pairs of the shoes, and many of the accessories.
The next thing you get for that $49 are 21 outfit combinations. So all of those pieces are combined in different ways to make 21 different outfits. And those aren’t the only 21 combinations you can make, but it’s three weeks of outfits that are different, that look cute, and that you don’t have to put any thought into to put together.
Again, it eliminates stress. And it eliminates wasting time thinking about what to wear. And it eliminates buying a whole bunch of clothes that separately are cute, but that don’t go together. It eliminates that “I have a closet full of clothes but nothing to wear.”
So here are three outfits from the current challenge. I had the jeans and the shoes and the accessories from previous challenges. The only new things I bought are the navy shirt (which I never would have thought to buy before this challenge but I love) and the poncho (from Costco!)
(The pictures kind of suck because Number 4 took them and I was in a rush to get out the door and it was dark out, but you get the point).
As you can see, I made three different outfits using the same shirt. I wouldn’t have come up with these combos on my own!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — the GYPO style challenges have been life changing for me.
Totally worth the investment. Click below to sign up today and start looking cute again!
