Well that was quick.

Yesterday was my anniversary.

No, not my wedding anniversary.

My blogiversary.

Not Your Average Mom turned one yesterday.

I published my first post on April 22, 2012.

Here it is, just for old times sake.

Yep.

A whole year has passed, and unfortunately, the state of my underwear hasn’t changed.

But a lot of other stuff has.

Look at Number 7.

She went from this:

While her appearance has changed, her love for paint clearly hasn’t.

So many other things have happened in the past year.

Some happy times.

Some not so happy times.

There have been lots of firsts.

First triathalon.

First swim meet.

First birthday.

First published writing.

First internet tv show.

We’ve been on tv.

(Look how fat I was. Too bad that wasn’t after Lose to Win).

We’ve laughed.

And cried.

We’ve celebrated holidays.

We’ve seen the rise

and fall

of the Bubble 🙁

We’ve gone through a

lot

of

yogurt

and

feminine

products.

We’ve broken noses

and toilets.

We’ve eaten some

interesting

things.

We’ve

fallen

asleep

all

over

the

place.

I’ve complained about lunchboxes,

sneakers,

decorating,

school projects,

and pretty much

everyone

on the

Food

Network.

I’ve shared laughter and tears and secrets and goals with all of you.

Some of you have done the same with me.

Thank you for following along.

Thank you for your comments.

Thank you for making me laugh.

And thank you for making this past year one of the most rewarding years of my life.

I can’t wait to do it all over again.
