Trash to treasure. Cutest. Table. Ever. (And it was totally free)

A little paint goes a long way…

Did you know that most paint stores have paint samples that they want to get rid of? Many people return samples to the store after they use them. The paint store has no use for them anymore, and they will give them to you for free.

All you have to do is ask.

They look like this:

This past weekend we got a bunch of free pints of sample paint from the local paint store.

I’ve had this table for a while… I found it for free on the side of the road.

It was a mess. The top was a crappy piece of plywood.

But all it took was a little bit of sanding the top,

a coat of primer (I already had that),

and then a couple coats of the sample paint.

I used one color for the base,

and a darker color for the top and doors.

How cute is that?

Like I said before, a little paint goes a long way!
