Today is the last day of Lose to Win.
I’ve been looking forward to this day for 12 weeks.
Now that it’s here, I’m a little bummed.
Tomorrow it’s back to the old routine.
No more excuses or rationalizations for neglecting the laundry.
And the cleaning.
And the cooking.
And the children.
Today it’s acceptable for the house to be a mess.
But tomorrow it won’t be.
So I might as well go for it.
I have accomplished some things I wasn’t sure I’d be capable of doing in the past three months.
Today is the final test.
In 2 1/2 hours I’ll be about 10 minutes into a half marathon.
Then at 5:00 I’m participating in the final Lose to Win event.
An indoor triathalon.
I’m not going through all this and then floating across the finish line.
Nope.
I’m going out with a bang.
Hopefully.
By 5:00 tonight when the triathalon starts, I’m hoping to still be vertical…
And by 6:30 when it’s all done, I’m hoping to be…
…conscious.
See you on the other side 😉

I recently got turned onto this blog by my sister in law. I had to take a couple of days and back track to the beginning. You are hilarious! Good luck today, knock ’em dead!
