A friend of mine from high school posted this on facebook. I thought it was pretty cute, and I thought you might too…
Every year on the first day of school, she takes a picture of the kids and then asks them what they want to be when they grow up.
Here is what her daughter said:
4 years old – the muffin man
5 years old – fire fighter
6 – fire girl
7 – space astronaut
8 – fire fighter
9 – soccer player
10 – soccer player
11 – football player
It’s still close enough to the beginning of the school year for you to start this year, or you could do it on their birthday.
(When I grow up, I want to be Number 4).
How adorable! I love that she evolved from a fire fighter to a fire girl, but then went back to being a fire fighter! In 25 years you will have to update us on what exactly this child becomes! Great idea!
