Tonight I took some time to be a human being, instead of a human doing.

Tonight I was going to write a post after I set the kids up with a movie.

But instead, I plunked right down on the floor with them and watched Rudolph.

Not too many more years they’re gonna want to do that with me.

Don’t forget to slow down this holiday season.

It goes by fast enough as it is.

I’ve been away for a few days and can’t seem to see any older posts. If I change the page the blog from the day before is still the story????

You might be pleasantly surprised. We have 5 kids – the oldest is 20 and in college, the youngest is 10 and in 5th grade. All of them love to watch the holiday movies with us. We DVR them and watch them with the whole family once the college girl comes home for the holidays. You are so right, it’s such a great tradition!
