I had a birthday party with way too many kids today.
Luckily, I asked my cousins two daughters, who are in 6th grade and 10th grade, to come help out.
They manned a “beauty station” and gave manicures, pedicures, and tatoos to anyone who wanted one. When the party moved to the pool, they helped watch the kids who weren’t great swimmers. They also occupied my other children during the party so that I didn’t really have to worry about them.
The kids loved the “cool teenagers” and the cool teenagers loved the kids. I loved the extra help.
It was a win-win for everyone!
