This lady is smiling for a reason.

I hate snow.

And snow days.

And early dismissals.

And delayed openings.

And snowpants.

And mittens.

And gloves.

And sleeves that needed to be pulled down.

There is just about no return on your investment for putting all that crap on a 2, 3, and 4-year-old.

Because I don’t have those little kids who love being out in the snow no matter what.

One errant flake that makes its way down someone’s neck, and we are on our way inside.

It’s also -2 degrees outside now.

Too cold for the little guys.

So I will be trapped inside with my kids today.

My kids, who,

when I came into the playroom this morning at 6:30 a.m.,

were running in circles,

totally naked,

yelling,

“LET’S GET THE JUICES FLOWING!!!”

My husband isn’t leaving for work for about an hour and a half.

He attempted to tell me he was going to help me out before he left by shoveling.

“Oh no you’re not,” I told him. “You will help by watching those three until the second you need to leave.”

If anybody needs me, I’ll be out in the driveway.

And if I finish shoveling before my husband has to leave,

well,

then you can find me in the neighbor’s driveway.

2ND PLACE SUCKS!  I need your votes!
