Number 6.
He’s a menace.
A troublemaker.
You’ve seen his handiwork before.
If you follow the facebook page, then you probably already saw how he helped me out with Number 7 yesterday.
Like this:
and this:
He’s not so good at taking care of humans.
But in the last month, I have made a discovery.
He is good at taking care of something else…
About 6 weeks ago, we discovered that we had a kitten living under our garage.
It’s a detached garage, and it’s in pretty bad shape, so there are quite a few holes and openings underneath it.
We think the cat may have been born under there, and we have no idea how long she’s been living under there.
Probably 3 or 4 months.
But one thing is clear.
That little kitty had never had any human contact.
She wouldn’t come near us.
We started putting food outside for her.
Little by little, she started to feel a little more comfortable.
But she was still very skiddish.
We would tiptoe toward her, trying to get within arm’s reach, but she’d run away when we got too close.
Well, she would run away from me.
And my husband.
And Number 1.
And 2.
And 3.
And 4.
And 5.
But she did let one person touch her…
For some reason, this picture keeps popping into my head….
Anyway, I think I may have found the trick to calming the savage beast.
It’s not music.
It’s a kitten.
Now if I can just figure out a way to get that kitty to potty train him, then I’ll be all set.
