On Thursday I embarked on a road trip by myself to Hershey, Pennsylvania with Number 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
It may be the most challenging thing I’ve ever attempted to do in my entire life.
And since I’m not sure if I’ll live to see tomorrow, here is a quick recap of the trip so far.
Road Trip Statistics:
Number of Miles from Our House to the Hotel: 235.3
Number of hours later we left than I had planned: 4
Number of hours it took us to get to the hotel: 4 1/2
Number of times we had to stop on the way down to pee/poop/puke/break up fights: 0
(yes, it’s a fucking miracle)
Number of people sleeping in one room: 6
Number of fights about who was going to sleep on the air mattresses and who was going to sleep on the bed: in the hundreds
Number of times someone said “Is it time to go to Hershey Park yet???”: in the hundreds
Number of degrees it was yesterday: 90 something
Number of percentage of humidity it was: 175%
Number of minutes we were at the park before someone started complaining: .01
Number of pictures I took once we got to the park: 2

Number of times I had to drag Number 6 and 7 out of a line because they couldn’t agree on who was going to sit with who:1
Number of people who walked past us while I sat with Number 6 and 7 while they screamed bloody murder because I dragged them out of line: 1,000
Number of dollars I spent on food inside the park: 0
(Yes, another miracle. It was a day of miracles.)
Number of times Number 4 gave me a fucking heart attack when I couldn’t find her: probably in the hundreds
Number of gallons of sweat that ran down my ass crack while at Hershey Park: 5 – 6
Number of hours I was at the park: 8 1/2
Number of times I asked myself, “WHAT THE FUCK WAS I THINKING?”: definitely in the thousands
Number of days it will be before I take the kids to an amusement park again: 364
Number of bottles of Kirkland Premium Golden Margarita I’m gonna drink tonight: TBD
