Pavlov’s Dogs

March 5, 2014 by not your average mom 2 Comments

Number 6 is no dummy…

Yesterday I wrote about him  and his temper.

I thought he came about it all on his own.

It was an innate thing. A developmental stage.

Not really anything to do with me.

Yesterday he woke up from his nap and asked for my iPad.

He’s got a thing for my iPad. Probably a little more than a thing.

So when he asked to play with it and I said no, he gave me a second chance.

He didn’t proceed to level 10 tantrum immediately.

He looked right at me.

“But Mommy?” he said. “Wemembah?”

“Remember what?” I asked him.

“Wemembah…

I cwy.

And then you give me yowah iPad.”

Hmmm.

Like I said… Number 6 is no dummy.

But his Mommy?

Well she sure is.
