one way to save paper

June 9, 2012 by not your average mom 5 Comments

Another “Grandma” saver…

We go through tons of copy paper here.  It started to get out of hand, so we now have two trays of paper next to the printer.  One has new paper in it, and one has paper with stuff printed on one side.

If I print something out that’s a mess up, I save the paper.  And when I clean out the kids’ folders, I save any of those papers that are blank on one side.  4 kids in school x a crapload of papers coming home each day = lots of paper.

Anytime I have to print something that’s not important, I use the paper with one side already printed.  I do the coupon thing, and I print coupons out on this paper too.  It has never been a problem at the store.

It’s amazing how much longer our copy paper lasts us now!

What are you favorite couponing sources?

I like CouponMom. She prints out a list of everything on sale each week at all the major grocery stores (and drug stores) and then also matches those up with any coupons that there are for those things. So I don’t even really have to look at the sales flyers if I’m super busy (which is usually). I just print out her list, and use that. I also like the Krazy Coupon Lady. How about you? What are yours?

I’ve mostly only tried CouponMom and Target. I am failing at so many things and couponing is near the top of the list!

You are not failing! There’s only so much time in a day…
