Last week I wrote about my Halloween costume dilemma.
Well, it all worked out.
And I did not spend one cent on costumes.
Improvise, adapt, and overcome, as my college swim coach used to say.
Numbers 1 and 2 weren’t here, but they are too cool for costumes anyway.
Number 7, at one year old, doesn’t know the difference, so she stayed home with my parents who handed out candy for us.
So I only needed to come up with 4 costumes. We ended up with a cowboy, a baseball player, a ballerina, and Little Red Riding Hood.
I did, however, have trouble getting that one, awesome Halloween picture of the kids.
It was reminiscent of my first day of school picture taking nightmare.
Or the softball picture nightmare.
If they ever make up a Top Chef/Project Runway/America’s Next Top Model-type reality show for photographers, well, Number 4 should be the subject matter for one of the photo shoot challenges.
Only a seriously talented photographer will ever be able to get a decent shot of her.
Plus, we are overdue for a photo montage, anyway.
So here you go. I particularly like the ones where she is actually trying to climb inside her own basket.
I think I should start pitching that reality show now…
