Number 5 and 7 either want to gouge each other’s eyeballs out, or they play really really really nicely together.
For the last two months, they have been about 20% eye gouging/80% playing really, really, really nicely.
They are a pretty creative duo.
They make their own hazmat suits.
They make their own “pools”.
They make their own restaurants.
That deliver.
And they make their own games.
Today they made a cooking game.
What’s it called?
Blind Cooking, inspired by Mary Ingalls.
What do you do?
You whip up some pancake mix.
Then, you put on a blindfold.
Naturally, you use neck warmers for blindfolds.
Without being able to see the pancake, you tell your opponent when to flip it.
You play three rounds.
Whoever has more closest-to-perfectly-cooked pancakes wins.
Number 5 was today’s winner.
And this is what 59 days of social distancing looks like.

Aww my girls were the same way when they were younger. Best friends one minute-crying and hating each other the next. They are now 14 and 16 and it definitely gets better… not to say there are not some blowout fights every now and the.

They are pretty good together. No complaints. I just hope it stays that way when they are older. 🙂
