I don’t know if you’ve ever seen Gremlins…It’s an old movie from the 80’s about “A boy (who) inadvertantly breaks 3 important rules concerning his new pet and unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous monsters on a small town.”
Malevolently mischevious monsters.
Hmmmm.
Suddenly I’m thinking about my week last week.
So the 3 important rules to always follow for Gizmo, the pet, are 1) no water, 2) no food after midnight, and 3) no bright light.
When the first 2 rules are broken, Gizmo multiplies and turns into an evil little gremlin.

Whoever wrote this movie must have had a 2 and 3-year-old.
So I really have to think about how I contributed to the problem last week.
What are the 3 parenting rules that should always be followed, and which ones did I break?
When I figure them out, I’ll let you know.
Right now, I hear a disturbing noise coming from downstairs…
