my (not as) dirty (not so) little secret

About 2 months ago I wrote about the sad state of my office (here’s the link if you haven’t read it (http://nyam.wpengine.com/?p=739).

Someone recently asked about my progress. I bet you thought I hadn’t made any.

But I’ve been waiting for someone to say something. I knew the moment would arrive, and I didn’t want to feel like a total asshole when it did.

So here is an update.

Here is my computer area on June 12, 2012…

I know, not a huge change. But if you look closely, you will see a few differences.

Like those brain teaser picture puzzles for kids. See if you can find 10 differences..

I don’t care what anyone says. That is some impressive shit right there.

And, among other things, here is what I found in the process:

the class list from Number 4’s class that I was looking for in March
the stack of thank you notes that I still hadn’t mailed from Number 3’s birthday party in June
a roll of 100 stamps
Number 6 and Number 7’s social security cards
a box of about 50 brand new birthday/thank you/anniversary cards
an entire bag of Christmas presents that I couldn’t find last December

So I still have 18 days remaining and this area left to contend with:
