My favorite moment of Halloween

We went trick-or-treating on Friday with friends who have two daughters who are the same ages as Number 3 (9 years old) and Number 4 (8 years old).

They live in a great neighborhood for Halloween with lots of cul de sacs and lots of houses.

So there were seven kids altogether, ranging in ages from 3 to 9.

I wrote yesterday about how great they all were.

Even when these three dickhead teenagers kept crossing our path.

Not only were these morons completely disrespectful to us adults, but they were rude and obnoxious and doing their best to scare the kids or make them uncomfortable.

They were pulling stupid shit like pretending to fall right in front of Number 7, and then yelling at her for tripping them.

Our kids weren’t quite sure how to react.

Especially at one point when the punks were at the end of the same cul de sac where we were, and one of the kids was lying on the ground in the middle of the street waving his arms and legs around and repeating “photosynthesis” over and over again.

Everyone kind of walked way around them and stared, not quite knowing what to do.

Everyone except for Number 4,

who rather than talking a path as far away from the idiot as possible,

walked in a straight line directly toward the douche,

looked right at him, stepped over him, and at the top of her lungs screamed:

“ROADKILL!!!” 

And then she proceeded to the next house.

She shut those mothereffers right up.

When I grow up, I want to be just like Number 4.

And if I can’t do that, I’m going to at least dress up like her for Halloween.
