Just like the rest of you, I took a “First day of School” picture.
Well, I tried to, anyway. I thought you might like to see Number 3 and 4’s photo session.

After the 10th try, Number 3 said, “I’m not doing this anymore,” and he went inside.
Excellent.
Fast forward to Number 3 getting off the bus.
Me: How was your day?
Number 3: Horrible.
Me: Oh. How about your teacher. Did you like her?
Number 3: Not really. But she’s way younger than you. And she’s much smarter than you.
Alrighty then. School year is off to a great start.

My neighbor (who was at the bus stop with me) saw the C school bus go by. She said to me, “There is a little girl waiving hysterically at you on that bus.” #4 was all smiles (should have gotten a pic for ya). She had that hand flying back and forth at me. I felt like a celebrity!

OMG the pics are hilarious……if it were my daughter she would have added “she is skinner than you too.”

Susie, You are so smart, so funny, why are kids so mean! Mine are 25 & 26 and they still are mean! But I love them. Sometimes they have their good days.

What I got the biggest kick out of was not #4’s different expressions (without giving you a good picture yet) but #3. He actually stood there for all of the pictures without messing up a single one and with a good expression on his face the whole time.
Love your blog!
Cheers,
