We leave for Boston this morning.
Last year my parents and Number 3, 4, and 5 came with me.
It was an amazing two days, especially for the kids.
This year we are all going. My husband, Numbers 2 through 7, and my parents.
(In case you were wondering, I managed to find a place to stay in Framingham — I had posted on Facebook last week that we still had no hotel room since I was waiting to see what was going on with the house before I made any plans, and finding a room that late in the game was proving to be a challenge. But I found two!)
Number 4 and 5 have been talking non-stop about how great it’s going to be. they’ve been talking about taking the subway and staying in the hotel and seeing everyone running and being able to swim in a pool and going to the Expo.
Number 6 and 7, who missed out last year, have been asking every day, How many more days until we go to Boston?
Yesterday I went to Costco and bought a bunch of stuff so we don’t have to spend $20 on a bottle of water and a piece of pizza when we are there.
I bought things I don’t usually buy, like granola bars and cereal and juice boxes and Gogurts, and I think the kids are as thrilled about the prospect of having Mini Wheats for breakfast as they are about going on a trip.
We are all looking forward to going.
Especially Number 6.
He’s gowing to Boston.
And he’s ixsidid.
We all are.
