I want my MTV

Well, I’ve officially turned into the out-of-it mom that I swore I wouldn’t become before I had kids.

I used to watch the MTV Video Music Awards religiously.  I haven’t seen them in a couple of years now.  Yesterday on the computer there were a bunch of pictures of “artists” who were there.  I hardly knew who any of them were.

My grandfather used to say, “That’s not music; that’s a bunch of noise.”

I thought he was an asshole at the time.

Now I agree with him.

This one right here, I just don’t get.  I know who she is, but, as I’ve said before, the only good thing about her, in my opinion, is that if I stood next to her my ass would look really tiny.

Did you know there is a Korean rapper/singer name PSY?  And people listen to him?

And if you can name this dude (without googling it) you win 5,000,000 cool parent points.

Oy.

Is VH1 even a channel anymore?

If it is, I’m gonna go turn it on and listen to some REO Speedwagon.  Cause I’m cool like that.
