I can be a pretty big bitch to my husband.

I also don’t tell him very often how much I appreciate how hard he works.

I mean, I will literally rip a picture from a magazine, say “build this,” and he does it.  How lucky am I?

You’ve seen the pool deck…And the bunk beds…And my kitchen…(not totally finished, but I love it)

All built by him.  And that’s just a fraction of what he’s done.

But then instead of showing him my appreciation with a really nice love note, or a dinner, or a massage, or even just a thank you, I pretty much immediately present him with his next project.  And ask how long it will take him to finish it.

Bitch.

Last week in a rather large temper tantrum, Number 5 ripped the door to her room completely off of its hinges.

My husband came home from work, I told him about it, and 5 minutes later, it was fixed.

I know a lot of people who would have to wait for a handyman to come and fix that.  And then pay for it.

Yep.  I really take him for granted.

He also changes diapers, gives baths, puts the kids to bed, blah, blah, blah.

So I guess he doesn’t totally suck.

But lately things have been even more stressful than they normally are, and we are both exhausted.  So we’ve been disagreeing/bickering/arguing more than normal.

Of course, I’ve been convinced that it’s really all his fault.

We were talking on the phone 2 days ago, and the conversation got heated.  Okay, that’s really not accurate…  I was basically screaming at him.

And this was an hour or so after the brush incident, and ultimately I pretty much lost it.

But I was convinced I was 100% in the right.  And anything I said to him he completely deserved.

So I believe I ended the conversation with, “Fuck you.  You’re an asshole.”

And immediately upon saying that, a bee, from out of nowhere, stung the shit out of my hand.  I was outside, but it was like 40 degrees out there.  Where the fuck did a bee come from?

Coincidence, or sign from the universe?

Hmmm.  Yeah.

I guess I should go find my husband, give him a hug, and say thank you.

But first, I have to show him a picture I just saw of this really cool…
