Remember a couple weeks ago when I wrote that post about teachers and class gifts? About how I thought there should be an online registry for gifts so you can spend your money on exactly what they need rather than on the 117th apple mug they’ve received?
Well guess what?
There is! And it’s not just for teachers. It’s for everybody! You don’t have to be pregnant or getting married to register for gifts anymore.
Now anyone can set up their own online wishlist on MyRegistry.com. It’s simple, it’s easy, and it’s free!
I know we just had the biggest gift-giving day of the year a couple days ago. But if you have young children, then there will be birthday parties and other holidays coming up before you know it.
How great would it be if you received a party invitation from one of your kids’ classmates, and rather than having to guess about what gift to get a kid you’ve never even met, you could just quickly check out what he or she wants online, without having to ask!
And if you are a class room mom, you could make sure your kid’s teacher is set up on MyRegistry.com. No more unused gifts going into the teacher’s closet!
Check it out. I’m going to set my kids up right now!

You can also make a wish list on Amazon. For Christmas, my husband and I had our own list, our toddler had a list and our newest addition (due in April) had a wish list as well. It was simple to do (especially since I’m on Amazon all the time) and saved a lot of requests for lists from the grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends etc.

Good to know, Gwyneth!
