Today I am thankful.
I am thankful for my oven.
I’ve had it for five years, and I just realized this morning that it has a “probe” attachment that I can shove into my turkey.
That’s so cool.
I am thankful for the health of my family.
For my awesome parents.
For my kids, who help me to keep things in perspective.
I am thankful for my friends, who have helped me through this past year.
I am thankful for running and for yoga.
And for yoga pants. Especially tonight.
I don’t tell him very often, but I am thankful for my husband.
I am thankful for the recent surprise visit from my brother who I see way too infrequently.
I am thankful for my therapist and for the swim team and for my kids’ teachers.
And I am thankful for this blog, and for all of you who read it.
I am thankful for this community, for your support, for your kind words, and even your not-s0-kind words.
It’s nice to know you aren’t on this parenting ride alone.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking this journey with me, and from my family to yours, a sincere and heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you for making me Number 1!

I too, am thankful for yoga pants, but not because I do yoga. I am totally jealous of your probe thingy. I want one. I am also pretty dang thankful for my family because they are pretty awesome!
