When I woke up this morning I’d say I was already in the orange.
Because it’s Number 7’s birthday today.
Suddenly all of our diaper change wrestling matches are appealing to me.
The food on the floor doesn’t bother me.
Her desire to shove any and all things into her mouth now seems cute.
And I like being greeted like this every morning:
I don’t really want her to grow up.
And I’m DREADING this: 10 tissue commercial
So I was thinking about all these things, and then this morning I found this. Number 4 must have made it yesterday, and she left it in the office.
In case you need help, it says:
Dear (Number 7),
My cute baby sister.
You are one.
You are growing up so fast.
Love, (Number 4)
Happy Birthday Party.
My Little Sister.
You are a Star.
Ok. So now I’m in the red.

Sweet. My baby girl turned one in August and I was a mess. It’s so fast.

It sure is. You know what they say… the days go slow but the years go fast…

Happy Birthday to Baby# 7. I only have two little girls, but when each of them turned one, I too was a bit emotional. Loved the letter from #2 to #7, totally precious. Thanks for sharing and happy to follow you. I too am a mommy blogger and would love if you too would take a look at my page when you get a chance and possibly follow back. Thanks Janine 🙂 🙂

If it wouldn’t kill my husband, I’d probably do it…
