If you regularly find yourself saying I’ve got nothing to wear and are ripping your closet apart to find an outfit every day, KEEP READING THIS POST.
I wanted to remind you about the Get Your Pretty On Winter/Holiday Style Challenge for three reasons.
First, I seriously love these challenges. They have changed my life. And the “challenges” are really just to get your ass dressed every day.
I loved the fall one, and I love this one. I have not had to worry about what I was going to wear since I started it in September. I haven’t said “I have nothing to wear” in months. And I don’t have a closet bursting with clothes. I have a very small mix and match capsule wardrobe.
The second reason I’m reminding you is because you only have until tonight at midnight to get the challenge for the early bird price. I think at full price it’s totally a bargain because of the amount of time you save and because you get a list of super cute outfits and haven’t found yourself in a situation where you have purchased a bunch of clothes that you might like but that don’t go with anything else in your wardrobe.
The third reason is because the pieces are so cute.
What pieces do you get?
You are given a list of tops, bottoms, sweaters/jackets, shoes, and accessories. It’s usually about 4 pieces in each category. Then you are given 21 outfit combinations. You are also given multiple links to buy the pieces online (including plus size links), suggestions for dressing each outfit up and down, suggestions for substitutions if there are pieces you don’t have, and style tips of the day.
This winter challenge also has 3 bonus dressy outfit combos and 2 cozy pajama outfit combos.
Wondering what kind of outfits are in the challenge?
Here’s a sneak peak of two of them…
First, a comfy but stylish outfit that will look good even in a blizzard:
If it’s not snowy, I’ll substitute those boots for brown riding boots (which I already have).
And then this one that’s a little bit dressier:
If I get invited to a Girl’s Night Out, I will be ready to go in two seconds! And I’ll look hot!
And next week, when I go to a “cocktail attire” Christmas party, I’ll swap out these jeans for black skinny jeans (already in my wardrobe) and a pair of heels. I don’t have to worry about having a thing to wear for that either. No last minute shopping for a dress!
