I guess I should start a Monday morning off with something motivating…

A let’s-start-this-week-off-on-a-good-note-and-put-our-positive-thoughts-out-to-the-universe kind of post.

But instead I’m going to complain.

About Trisha Yearwood.

And if you are saying, “Who the hell is Trisha Yearwood?”…

Well that’s pretty much why I’m complaining.

A while back I mentioned on the  not-your-average-mom.com facebook page that maybe I should cut back on the amount of time I spend watching the Food Network.

Because Number 4 and 5 were playing “babysitter”, and Number 5 wanted to be called Ina.

Not, like, Selena, or Katy, or Carly, or Taylor.

But… Ina.

You know, the Barefoot Contessa.

I love her.

Anyway, one of my favorite things to do, especially in the winter, is spend time cooking in the kitchen and watching cooking shows on the Food Network.

Hence Number 5’s moniker.

But I think my trusty Food Network is going all TLC on me.

Because now Trisha Yearwood has her own cooking show.

Trisha Yearwood?

Really?

Hey Trisha, if you are trying to revive your washed up career, why don’t you do what everyone else does?

Get your ass on Celebrity Apprentice.

I mean, you are married to one of the top selling music artists….

In the history of…  like..

Ever.

Isn’t that enough?

And hey… Food Network…

If you are going to jump the shark, and give a cooking show to someone completely undeserving, can’t you at least pick someone interesting?

You know, a total train wreck?

Someone like, I don’t know…

Lindsay Lohan?

I mean, if she’s gonna be wearing an ankle bracelet and trapped in her house for the next few years, then you might as well give her something productive to do…

And watching her turn a pack of cigarettes,a can of Red Bull and a bag of coke into a complete meal in under 30 minutes…

Well that I would like to see.
