A couple weeks ago I got a card in the mail.
It was from someone I had sent a Christmas card to this year.
I just thought what was inside the envelope was so cute, and I thought I’d share it.
It’s a handmade ornament.
Super simple.
On one side is a recycled card with the year the card was sent on it.
On the other side?
The picture from the Christmas card I sent out this year.
How cute is that?
Two cards glued together with a hole punched in them and a little bit of ribbon.
Nothing fancy, but I know the kids will love hanging it on the tree next year and remembering the Christmas card picture from the year before.
If only I had thought of this this winter…it would have been a great snow day activity.
I will definitely be saving all my cards next year so that I can do this with the kids and send them to my friends.
Thanks to Beth for the great idea!
