If you’ve been around a while, you might remember Miss Pam.
She started out as our amazing bus driver.
She delivered the kids safely and happily to my house hundreds and hundreds of times.
Then Miss Pam became a friend.
And when I put a call out to my friends asking for help painting my new place, she was one of the people who showed up at my door.
She wasn’t empty handed.
She came with a whole basket full of blessings for me.
She said a prayer for my new house.
And then, one by one, she handed me the blessings.
Bread… that this house may never know hunger.
Salt… that life may always have flavor. (THERE’S ALWAYS A LOT OF FUCKING FLAVOR).
(Non-alcoholic) Wine… that you always have joy and never go thirsty.
Olive oil… that you all are blessed with health and well-being.
Honey… that you may always enjoy the sweetness of life.
Candle… that you may always have light through dark times.
I never had anyone bless my house before and I gotta tell you.
I think it worked.
I have never felt more blessed.
Life is good.
And so is Miss Pam.

I’ve heard of this gift and could never remember the components! Thanks for the reminder. Pam is the blessing, too. We are what we attract.
Very best wishes to you! You are going to be more than fine.
