We Are Not Just Travelers

My parents went on vacation a couple weeks ago, and they visited one of their favorite jewelry stores while they were there.

They got me a gift.

It was a small box.

Inside was a necklace with a compass rose charm on it.

There was a card in the box.

It read:

Our compass rose is a talisman to remind the wearer, we are not just travelers, but the navigators of our destiny.

The navigators of our destiny.

I love my new necklace.

I am not just a traveler.

I am the navigator of my destiny.

I am never taking this necklace off.

And I think I know what my next tattoo is.
